Hi all, can anyone tell me hoe to replace a fuel filter in a 2000 Terios? Its done 130k and as yet not had a filter change. maybe that's why she's is a little unhappy. thanks

Hi I have a 2003 Terios SX Auto. I cannot find the location of the fuel filter :( Can anyone assist please as the vehicle has done 115000 km now,

follow this link to download the manual, it may help. If not, if you locate the fuel pump (I don`t know this engine too well), follow the fuel lines and you should come across the fuel filter. It could be a canister type or it could just be an in-line type. Hope it helps.

quadwrecker: Many thanks, that was a great help I will check it out and report back. I suspect that it may be in the petrol tank as we spent quite a while tracing the fuel lines. The replacement we obtained from Repco is a metal canister.

quadwrecker: Looking at the excellent manual, a fuel filter, as such, is not shown. This is an Aussie vehicle and I will be surprised if there is not a filter secreted somewhere!

if it`s the canister type, it should be located under the hood somewhere. if not, it could be just forward of the fuel tank, sometimes clipped to the underbody somewhere, but i`m not too sure with this model. take a look at the replacement and try find something that looks similar is all i can suggest.
