I was wondering if the intake manifold on my g203 is water cooled and thus can cause water gas and oil mix, Any help would be appreciated.

i am unsure, is yours a 3 cyl or 4 cyl? most 4 cyl motors i have seen have the coolant hoses going to the throttle body itself but haven't worked on a later model 3 cyl. i would say that you have more than likely blown the head gasket if you have water in oil or vice versa, maybe do a compression test?

mokeman: pressure in cylinders are fine. Water in exhaust and oil. It's a 4 cylinder. Gas in radiator aswell. Still starts but think the whole cooling system and head needs a good look at.

Hi there

I would seem to think that you might have a partially blown head gasket, hence why you still seem to have perfect pressure across all cylinders. It might even be a cracked cylinder head or block and can be where there is a water jacket in close proximity to a cylinder and leaking directly in to the bore.

I would suggest pulling the head off and having it pressure tested and checked if it hasn't been warped. If not replace the head gasket and have a look at you water pump as well. No point in replacing it if you haven't determined the cause.

Did this vehicle overheat at any point?

redline019: It had a problem when i bought it with leaky radiotor to transmision, so used to a little but changed radiotor and was fine. IT lost half water one day and started to missfiren. I then relised it had gas in radiotor. Water in exhausst. It starts first time but i dont use anymore.

It might of had this problem long before you even bought the car. Hence that might even be the reason why the previous guy sold it.
